Shipping & Purchasing
I strive to show my art as accurately as possible on this website with regard to size and colour. The images you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the images represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and therefore slight inconsistencies are not a valid reason for return.
Purchasing
How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal or Stripe in Canadian Dollars. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.
In Canada, as an option, we will accept e-transfer payment. If you wish to use this option, please email me at marg@margdugganjones.com and I will be happy to work with you.
Shipping
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
Most purchases will be wrapped and ready to ship within 7 - 10 days. If there will be a delay, I will email you to let you know. Paintings will be shipped by Courier service and/or Canada Post. I am able to offer direct shipping to Canada and the USA only at this time.
Shipping costs for artworks 24 x 24 inches and larger will be quoted separately. Please contact me and I will let you know in writing shipping options before dispatching the artwork. Shipping costs are based on size, weight and distance being shipped. Shipping costs outside of Canada and the US may be arranged by contacting me at marg@margdugganjones.com. I will be happy to provide you with a quote to send a painting internationally.
Overseas and border-crossing shipments (outside Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Is Shipping included?
At this time, as a website launch bonus, I am offering free shipping to Canada and the US for paintings under 24 x 24 inches.
What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting, the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.
Can you ship internationally?
At the current time, I am only shipping within North America however you may always reach out to me directly with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
Returns
What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.
If an original painting is not as you expected, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed upon, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days.
Do you give a refund on prints if I change my mind?
All prints are custom made to the size you request. I don’t hold stock – each print is made for you. Please check the size is as you wish before you place the order.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.
What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the North America.
